the taste of her cherry chapstick.

"I'm really critical of my posture, it makes a big difference," Perry told Tarts at Thursday night's Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif. "And I try to suck my belly in. Everyone should do that whether you're on a red carpet or not. Even if you're just going out to dinner with your boyfriend you should try and suck it in."

This is a quote from Katy Perry, via FOXnews.com (and my brother, who keeps me updated on sweet ED-related news stories). I like her. She's got spunk. I like her edgy-type pop sound. But, seriously, this woman has a doll. She clearly has some influence on younger girls.

Does this scare anyone else??

She's a product of our society. Plain and simple.

At least there are some other, more positive role models for girls-sadly I don't think they look to them as much as they do the ones who say sht like that. I don't like that. I agree, she is a product of our society. Scary. And, I remember being younger and wanting to look like the girls on the cover of Seventeen or whatever silly magazines we were reading then, now girls are inundated with so much more. Ugh. love ya em.

She is a complete product of society. Just listen to her lyrics, they're ridiculous. "I Kissed A Girl" used to send me into angry rages because it's so demeaning to true queer women. And how can anyone not hear how horrible "Ur So Gay" is?

That said... I always catch myself singing along to "Hot 'N Cold". Her production team sure knew how to work it.

As a true queer woman I HATE Katy Perry. I agree wth Anonymous. Her "I Kissed a Girl" is VERY demeaning to people who are gay or bisexual.
